How to do an Actuation Test on Higer with LAUNCH X431 PAD5?

This is a step-by-step tutorial on doing an actuation test with the LAUNCH X431 PAD5 Elite + HD3 Module. Here we're testing on Higer as an example.


Local Dignosis >> Higer >> OK >> Engine System >> BOSCH Identification >> BOSCH System self-identification >> Select the corresponding option: YuChai P1382 EDC17CV44 >> OK >> Actuation Test >> Engine Speed Test

Note: Please check that the following conditions are me

T15 power on.

Vehicle speed is 0.

No relevant fault code exists.

Gear engaged at P or N.

Handbrake applied.

Click "Continue".


Now we can view the dashboard RPM changes.

Click "Open", then "Close".

The operation on X431 PAD V was successful.


The dashboard tachometer is interrupted during the rev test and the actual vehicle will have a noticeable rev boost.
