Launch X431 ECU & TCU Programmer Clone VW ME17.5.22 ECU

This is a tutorial on how to use Launch X431 ECU & TCU Programmer to clone VW ME17.5.22 ECU on bench. You can also use the X-Prog3 + PC Adapter to finish the same job. Simple operation with 3 steps only.


Open X431 ECU & TCU Programmer software to search the ECU model:

Skoda, Fabia 2006-2020, CWVA 1600 MPI 110, ME17.5.22 TC1724F

Click "Direct connection of diagram" to find the wiring diagram.

Step1. Save original EEPROM & FLASH data.

After the connection is successful, click "Read chip ID".

Read EEPROM data >> Save EEPROM data file.

Read FLASH data >> Save FLASH data file.

Click "Disconnect".

Step2. After reading the original computer and the new computer data firstly, you need to clone the data and then write the cloned data in.

Back to the previous interface,

Data processing >> Data cloning >> VW MEDC17 clone >> Load the FLASH file of the original ECU >> Load the EEPROM file of the original ECU >> Load the FLASH file of the external ECU >> Load the EEPROM file of the external ECU

Clone data was generated successfully, please save the file!

Step3. Save the cloned EEPROM data and write it back to the new ECU.

Read Chip ID >> Write EEPROM data >> Load the cloned EEPROM file

Data is successfully written.

Write FLASH data >> Load the original car FLASH data restoration

Data is successfully written.

Click "Disconnect".

Completed.
