Local Diagnose >> VW >> Enter 44 Power Steering Trouble Code:

B1168F2 Steering Angle Sensor - No Initialization

OK >> Read DTC

Guided Functions >> Select Vehicle Model, Year & Engine Type >> Start >> Power Steering >> Guided Functions >> 0044 - Basic Setting Steering Angle Sender - G85

Follow the instruction on X-431 Pad VII, and press "Continue":

- Start engine.

- Turn to steer until the first mechanical end stop is contacted. The sequence left/right is insignificant.

- Turn to steer until the other mechanical end stop is contacted.

- Turn the steering back to its center position.

- Check yellow warm. Lamp in the instrument cluster.

Warn, Lamp in instrument cluster must extinguish.

Did the warning lamp extinguish? Yes

- Switch the engine off.

The initialization of the steering angle sensor - G85 was successfully performed.

Here, the program will be ended.

Go back to "Clear DTCs".

The trouble code B1168F2 was successfully solved.
